Why we endorsed Chris
Chris Sturken stands up for housing every chance he gets, and for that reason, he has our full support. Under his leadership, Redwood City has grown into one of the most vibrant cities on the Peninsula. We are so proud to support his re-election.
About Chris Sturken
Chris Sturken represents District 2 on the Redwood City Council, elected in November 2022; his term expires in December 2026. Before joining the council, he served on the city's Transportation Advisory Committee and worked as an organizer and advocate on relocation assistance, accessory dwelling units and affordable apartments. He works for a local nonprofit affordable housing organization that manages affordable homes on the Peninsula and runs a home sharing program. He grew up on the Peninsula and rents his home in Redwood City's Centennial neighborhood.
