Running for Councilmember, Emeryville City Council, in Emeryville, CA
Corry Frydlewicz brings a pro-housing and pro-safe streets view that is vital to continue developing Emeryville’s dense urban form. She fights to build more housing at all income levels and has been an advocate for finding ways to get many of Emeryville’s stalled housing projects back on track. Her platform acknowledges the need to build market rate housing while continuing Emeryville’s investments in subsidized housing to serve at-risk communities. Corry believes strongly in creating a walkable community that reallocates street space from private automobiles to better serve residents and businesses. For these reasons, we heartily recommend Corry for Emeryville City Council.
Corry Frydlewicz has lived in Emeryville since 2021 and is running for public office for the first time. She is a technology specialist for a local law firm that sues large companies on behalf of consumers. Her earlier jobs included game designer and coder, and she was a team leader for an international clothing brand. She is a Democrat running for the nonpartisan Emeryville City Council.
