About John Harabedian
John Harabedian is a member of the California State Assembly representing District 41, which includes Pasadena, Claremont, Monrovia, La Canada Flintridge and Sierra Madre; he was elected in 2024 and advanced from the June 2026 primary in his bid for re-election. Born and raised in Sierra Madre, he joined the Sierra Madre City Council in 2012 and twice served as mayor. An attorney, he has worked as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and at Latham & Watkins, and holds degrees from Yale University, Oxford University and Stanford Law School.
