About Lisa Gore
Lisa R. Gore is the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for single-member district 3/4G01 (Hawthorne and Barnaby Woods) in Washington, D.C., first elected in November 2020 and running for re-election on November 3, 2026. Gore moved to Washington after graduating from the University of Virginia in 1990 and has lived on 31st Street NW in Hawthorne since 2000. Gore's career in public service included supervision and community-based services for at-risk youth and federal law enforcement work, including service in the federal Inspector General community. Gore is a member of the Metropolitan Women's Democratic Club and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
