About Michael Farrington
Michael Farrington is a candidate for the Regional Transportation District (RTD) Board of Directors, District K (Commerce City, Brighton and Thornton), a nonpartisan office, in Colorado's November 3, 2026 general election. A fourth-generation Coloradan who grew up in Commerce City, he attended the University of Colorado Law School, where he studied land use, housing and local government, and now works with Colorado cities on land-use and legal issues. He co-founded YIMBY North Metro, a housing advocacy organization. He lives in Commerce City with his wife, Kassidy.
