As a former Planning Commissioner, Peter helped Capitola produce a certified Housing Element, is determined to work towards a housing project materializing at the mall, and understands the importance of building more housing to help make Capitola a place where people can afford to live.

Peter Wilk has 35 years of experience as an engineering manager at Northrop Grumman and elsewhere. He served as Capitola city treasurer and Planning Commissioner, and is running for Capitola City Council in 2026. Wilk is a lifelong Democrat.
