About Stephen Sherrill
Stephen Sherrill is the San Francisco Supervisor for District 2, which includes the Marina, Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, Presidio Heights, Laurel Heights, and Cathedral Hill. Appointed by Mayor London Breed in December 2024, he won the June 2026 special election to complete the term. He previously served as Director of the Mayor's Office of Innovation, where he worked on the city's response to homelessness, and before moving to San Francisco was a senior policy advisor under New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. On the Board he chairs the Government Audit and Oversight Committee.
