About Yara Zokaie
Yara Zokaie is the Colorado State Representative for House District 52 in Larimer County, elected in November 2024 and in office since January 2025. A tax attorney, she represents clients in cases against the IRS and state revenue departments, and before her election she served as chief deputy assessor of Larimer County. She holds a B.A. from UC Davis and a J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law.
