Founder and CEO, Revival Homes
After moving to Los Angeles, I quickly came to love my adopted home city, but found myself shocked at the region’s struggles with homelessness, traffic, pollution, and inequality. After realizing that these issues were all related to L.A.’s severe lack of housing, I decided that I wanted to be part of the solution to these challenges.
Anthony has been a leader in the pro-housing movement in Los Angeles since 2018, most recently serving as Director of Policy and Research at Abundant Housing LA. His work on housing reform has appeared on the op-ed pages of the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and Streetsblog. Anthony is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Chicago MBA program. He is founder and CEO of Revival Homes, a startup that matches homeowners to financing and contractors for ADUs.
When we say “yes” to more housing in our communities, we’re also saying “yes” to a stronger economy, better schools, a cleaner environment, and a more equal society, where people of all walks of life reach their full potential. As the grandson of Greek immigrants, I feel compelled to ensure that future Americans are enthusiastically welcomed into our communities—and that begins with a home.
Over the past 5 years, the pro-housing movement in California has grown from a small band of enthusiasts to one of the most impactful political movements in our state. Thanks to the sheer determination of thousands of YIMBY Action volunteers, fundamental housing reforms are now state law and are creating tens of thousands more homes every year. Simply put, YIMBY Action gets the goods.
